10 Ways to Save Money with Ariento
As the business cycle continues to turn and companies look to run leaner and cut costs, the team here at Ariento wants to lay out a few ways to save money on your subscription and spend less on your IT, cybersecurity, and compliance services.
- Consider Ariento's Essentials Plan. For non-CMMC clients on our Professional subscription, you can save by switching to our Essentials plan and saving up to 44% per standard user. Take a look at our services comparison chart here, and reach out to your account manager to discuss available options.
- Lock in your current pricing. As uncertainty looms over the economy, our vendor costs are constantly in flux. Ariento remains dedicated to keeping our prices stable, however as base licensing costs from Microsoft and other vendors rise, you can lock in the price you pay by renewing your service agreement. Price locks are guaranteed for all new two and three year agreements.
- Save by switching to an annual billing cycle. Ask your account manager how you can save up to 10% by paying your Ariento subscription annually (subject to certain qualification criteria, not to be combined with other discounts).
- Provision through Ariento to take control of your technology spend. Most modern SaaS (Zoom, Slack, Dropbox, etc.) is capable of centralized provisioning through Ariento's support team, creating a single pane of glass where you can track all of your technology spending and licensing costs.
- Review and reduce your Ariento user list. Request a user list export from your account manager and look for potential savings by downgrading existing users or removing archive users whose data is no longer needed.
- Consolidate redundant technologies. Businesses require a wide range of technologies for their daily operations. You may be using Zoom, WebEx, Slack, Dropbox, Box, Google Workspace, and other services that are duplicate capabilities of what is already included in your Ariento subscription. Many of these same capabilities are included in software that is bundled in your Ariento subscription. Contact your account manager to review your current technologies and have a discussion about lowering costs by eliminating redundant tools. If your business uses cloud workstations, you can also save by moving from AWS to Microsoft VDI, which has programs for credits and commitment savings.
- Leverage Ariento's Learning Management System (LMS). Did you know that a powerful Learning Management System comes included in all Ariento subscriptions? Utilize our LMS to consolidate your professional training (HR, compliance, Continuing Education, etc.) and train your workforce more efficiently. Our LMS can integrate video, quizzes, external content, and gamification features for a polished and professional platform complete with your company's own branding. If you already have a third-party LMS, save by switching to the system already included in your Ariento plan.
- Get rid of costly infrastructure. File and application servers are costly to maintain and more vulnerable to attack than their cloud counterparts. Application servers cost up to $500/month for licensing and support. And don't forget the costs of the hardware itself! Available SaaS options offer more flexibility and don't require the same levels of support to function. Additionally, Microsoft SharePoint, a cloud storage solution, comes standard with your Ariento subscription. Why keep a physical file server in your office when you can leverage the security of a Microsoft data center? Contact your account manager to schedule a demo.
- Finance your new computer purchases and leverage Ariento's Device Inventory Management Program. Purchase new hardware through Ariento's store and spread out your costs using After Pay. For your existing hardware, let Ariento help with inventory and storage. Stop keeping your unused laptops in the bottom of that dusty desk drawer and securely store your excess IT inventory with Ariento. When you hire a new employee or need a new device, our support team can even ship it to you pre-onboarded. Reach out to Account Management or the support team for details.
- Transition your office network to Meraki. Utilize a Cisco Meraki boundary device (available in our store) in your office and we'll manage it for you at no extra cost. You can also review your current internet plan with our team to look for potential savings on internet services and providers.
We appreciate your continued partnership and hope these tips help! If you have any questions or want more information, schedule time with your account manager using this link!
