The purpose of this article is to show users how to find and release quarantined emails in Microsoft 365 Outlook.
Users that have email being blocked by the spam filter.
Examples of when to use this article:
- “Someone sent me an email, but I can’t find it”
- “I received an email notification that I have emails in quarantine”
Step 1: Go to your quarantined page at https://security.microsoft.com/quarantine.
Step 2: On your Quarantine page, you’ll see a list of any messages that were sent to you, but were identified as spam and redirected to the quarantine.
Step 3: Double-click a specific quarantined message to view details about it and take action. If the message wasn’t actual spam, you can release it (have it sent to your mailbox).
Step 4: Select one or more messages, and then choose the “Remove from quarantine button”.
